Ati 10.4 whql & PowerColor HD 5970 4GB ?

Any idea if they fixed the missing resolutions in this 10.4 whql driver, tired of having 1280x1024 then next 1600x1200 instead of the actual monitor default max 1680x1050 and 1440x900 ?

Has anyone done some testing on this 4gb 5970 ?
Finally a video card manufacturer that uses their common sense and adds basic mobile phone equivalent vram.
