Sony vaio laptop does not start up

Hello,
I resently had a new hard drive put in my laptop and lost my start up cd. How can I get my system up and running again?

If you still have the old HDD and it was working, replace it into the system, boot up and use the computer to burn a new rescue CD. Then put the new HDD back in and use the rescue CD to install. If that's not possible go to Sony's site and download the software and burn the iso to a disc, then install it that way. Assuming of course your old drive still works and you can get on the net with it.
