Nice choice of parts.
I see Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound but not aftermarket CPU cooler.
Planning to overclock? A good aftermarket HSF is recommended.
Also think about using Arctic Cooling MX-2 thermal compound. Non-conductive and easier to work with.

Think about using the Antec 300 case and Corsair 650TX ($10 extra off if you order by June 2nd) to slim down the cost.

everything looks good except i would go on Asus website and find your mobo to make sure your memory is compatible with it as i had some issues with my Asus board, not with the same build.

I added that in there while considering an aftermarket cooler, but do you think it is necessary?

It's absolutely not necessary, but recommended if you want to run your CPU at higher than stock speeds.
Using the stock Intel heatsink is acceptable and it has it's own thermal compound already applied to the heat sink (gray patches in this picture).

The intel HSF does a 'good enough' job of cooling the CPU at stock 2.66Ghz speed of the i5-750, and maybe a bit above.
But an aftermarket HSF does cools better and is a good option if you want to overclock get even higher CPU speeds.
