I’m in the process of a build. The GA-P55A-UD3 has two 4 pin fan headers. One for CPU and the other for System fan 2. Any suggestions of a 200mm or 120mm 4pin system case fan with speed control?

System as follows:

Intel Core i5-750 (Lynnfield 4c) 2.66 GHz, DDR3-1333, 1 MB L2, 8 MB L3 Processor

I’m not sure if the Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 is compatible with a PWM fan. Any ideas is appreciated.
Thanks.

Buy an Antec 1200, it has all the fans and each has its own speed control. Newegg has the 900 for $100 and the 1200 for $170. I don't know which will end up the better buy for you after you add the cost of any fans to the 900. If you go the 1200 you might use the CP-850 for the same price. Look at it for the 900 as well. With the 1200 all the fans except the cpu cooler run direct from the PS cabling so no connections or power load on the mb.

You could always just buy a separate fan controller. ~$30 for a good basic 4 fan controller.

Good cases with one built in include the Element G, and storm Sniper/Scout.

There's currently a great deal on the G, $90 after MIR

Thanks for your reply DogShake,
The build was almost completed and I did not want to re-install in another case. I just went with the default setup with the 900. I am surprised by how quite the system runs. I will consider better case on next build. Thanks again.

Thanks for your reply banthracis,
The build was almost completed and I did look into some of the fan controllers.
I liked the AeroCool Touch 2000 Controller Panel : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811999198
which was also available at my local Fry's. However, I just went with the default setup with the 900. I am surprised by how quite the system runs.
I will consider better case or a fan controller on next build. Thanks again.
