It's probably off topic, but just curious if anyone owned any Hitachi products for a long time and had trouble free experience in the long run... just starting to hear many things about Hitachi in general having high rate of repairs on their technology products...
In particular, I have three Hitachi Monitors. I have the CM640 (a 17" ) that is now going on 7 years old and has worked every day with no problems. I have a CM751 (some say the best monitor ever made). It is nearing 6 years old and still works. And I have the new CML174SXW which I really like. Current 17" and 19" monitors use Samsung picture tubes in them. Current 21" models still use Hitachi picture tubes. Want a GREAT monitor...go with the 21" and get the Hitachi picture tube if you want a CRT. Always the best visuals you will see in a monitor. If you want an LCD...check out the CML174...don't think you'll be disappointed.
