Hard drive question

hey guys, i just bought a new hard drive but im a bit confused. It came and its fine, but it didnt come with any wires. i get that the power supply has the power cable on it, but where does the data wire come from? does the mobo normally come with one? thanks for any answers!

yes the motherboard comes with all the wires you need. hard drives usually do not come with any cables.
