Restore to default without wiping

Hello,

I bought some new RAM, installed it and played around with some of the timings and stuff but now my PC won't boot up (oops)

Is there a way to restore the BIOS default memory settings without wiping my BIOS? It's been flashed and I really don't want to undo it.

Yep it's easy do restore the defaults. Just unplug your PC and pull the little battery on the motherboard out for a couple minutes. Then put it back in and you should be good to go.

The battery is hidden behind a maze of cables and I'm far to tired to do any more tonight. I'll do it in the morning when my brain in fully functional and I'll post an update

That did the trick. At least now I have something on the screen so I can continue to tweak my RAM
