Continual Reboot

Hello, I purchased a MSI GF615m-P33 board, AMD Athlon II X2 processor and 4GB Corsair DDR3 Ram, my HD is a 500 GB Hitachi. Originally I couldn't boot from the CD drive. I removed the HD and installed Windows XP from another machine. Now when I try to boot from the HD the Windows load screen flashes up for a second, then the system reboots. this circle never ends. PLEASE HELP!

Sounds like a restart button short to me.
