How to know if memory running in dual chanell throu windows xp

Hello,
i have got to memory and seller claim that these are dual chanell how can i find out these are dual chanell i am using windows xp sp2 i would glad if you could show me by using windows xp thank you.

Try running CPU-Z and check the memory tab. It should tell you.

There is no such thing really as "dual channel memory" as far as sticks go. Those are really just matched sets with the same timings and speeds.

If your RAM can do dual-channel depends on the motherboard in your computer.

I slightly misread your post. hang-the-9 is spot on.

CPU-Z can tell you if your motherboard is currently running the ram in dual channel mode or not.
