Bought a bare DVD drive

Hey all, I recently purchased a bare ASUS DVD internal drive for my first build. I didn't notice it was a bare drive until I saw the "retail" version of it after I bought it. From what I know a bare drive comes with nothing but the DVD drive itself and no software.

The question is do I need to install a driver for my DVD drive in order for it to work? If so how will I find the driver for it? I went to the ASUS website and found nothing for this DVD drive.
