Hard drive wont fit

The rails on my coolmaster storm case do not let me push back the sata hardrives enough for the power cable to have sufficient room. I am either being stupid here or its a design fail. Any ideas?

Using only my imagination on what it must look like, could you perchance use a power cable with an L-connector? Then again, that might be a pain to hook up to your PSU. I've never tried it.

You didn't say which storm it was, but here is a pic from anandtech. Your picture makes it look as if the drive is in backwards.

Yes, it's always easier when the drive ports are facing the motherboard.
