Hello,i have a Inno3d 1gb ddr2 video card and i dont know if it is compatible to my asus p5sd2-vm motherboard. i tried using it and everytime im playing some games ithe system would hang.

Can you be more specific on the model of your Inno3d 1gb ddr2 video card? Your motherboard has a PCIe x16 slot, so should work with any current PCIe card (1.x or 2.x). I would suggest to download the lastest drivers for your GPU and see if that helps.

Also, what games are you planning, at what resolution and how are your temps??

1) GPU is compatable with your motherboard.

2) Have you checked your temps on the CPU & GPU (as heat can cause this issue).

3) Your GPU is not the most powerful gaming card (more of an HTPC card). Try lowering your resolution and "eye-candy" some more and see what happens.
