What connectors do I need? And a *NEW PROBLEM*

Googled it, found a review of the card, first guy reckons you dont need to plug it into anything, you should be fine as is it appears   the white one is for plugging in a cd drive apparently though

I tried downloading the driver for this card, but the driver detected no soundcard. I plugged the soundcard into the white slot here ( I have the same motherboard model as the picture, a micro atx dell 0m017g):

probably a wire making contact with the case somewhere. static feedback.

check the wires to make sure there are no shorts.

The new problem:

I am trying to install the driver for my sound blaster audigy SE here:

When I finish the download, it tells me that it doesn't find the product in my system. I checked my device manager and it seems that my sound blaster audigy sound card doesn't show up in my device manager sound and game controller list... what is going on? How do I solve this?

Is there anything in your bios to enable sound devices? mine has a 'front panel audio' tab, I deselect that, your Bios should, I say Should have similar

I only found my integrated audio in my bios utility set up. I can enable it and disable it, but I don't see my sound blaster audigy se.

You wont,
disable your integrated audio, plug your sound card in and update drivers for it again, I'll check back in a bit, I need sleep Nightshifts

It didn't work.
BTW, my sound blaster audigy SE is from my old burnt computer, the card iteself even has some burnt marks on the metallic plate here:


So it could be that the card is broken, but I posted about this some time ago and replies said it should still work since there are no other burnt marks.

Sorry, Vaylen is my abandoned account. Vay is my active account, but sometimes I forget while logging in and I auto fill the ID from the drop down list and log into my Vaylen account by accident.

is there any way you could get another card to check? it may be that somethings melted/popped inside and its trashed the card, but you cant see the damage,
