Which version of speedfan is best

It looks like there are several versions of speedfan; some are more elaborate with some beta tweaks. I just want to control the fan better; OEM does not regulate at optimal cooling in the "cpu adaptive" mode, and overcools in the "cpu performance mode. Sony VAIO Z series. Any comments?

^^Agree. Always get the latest one unless there are reported bugs against it. Don't get the beta one's. At least i don't trust beta versions.
