How to resolve temp files on desktop

If you're talking about the MSOffice programs or other applications, then it's normal (the autorecovery) to appear in the directory where you save the file (in this case, the desktop folder)
I think there is an option to change that from the tools menu of MSOffice programs.
But I think you should just go to any folder>click the tools menu> click folder options, view tab>and check Do not show hidden files and folders and ok.

If you are talking about something else, like geting rid of temp files in general, then install CCleaner.
