Hey guys, my thread is pretty much explained in the title. I'm just about to take this hard drive out which I'm using just now and putting it in as a 2nd drive in my new motherboard. Should I format it first or do I do it when I've installed it along with the new drive?

Solution
If this is a new system only connect the drive you want your OS on. Install the OS and make sure all is working well. Now you can add the old drive to the system. If you need the data on the old drive, just delete the windows folder and leave all your data alone. If there is nothing you need to keep on the old drive, then format it.
