Thanks to the forum reviews and comments I have built an awesome i7 930 system

I decided to get a 5350 rather than spending close to 250 buck on two active adapters to drive the display port THANKS ATI.
Any way I have been trying to determine if 3 5770 in dual crossfire would be able to deliver the 2x3 eyefinity display, shoul I want to game rather than develop. I could see picking up a third 5770 in the future id this was possible rather than spend 50% more on a hack adapter. Probably would mean moving to a 1000W from the 850.

This would be an interesting experiment for THW to do .

Talked with AMD ATI

It is not possible for 3 5xx0 to eyefinity.

The reason for the Display port is that it is nOT licensed and has future expandability that is essentially not limited.

The response to no monitors was the obvious Dell and HP. Of course having to buy triplets of these monitors is prohibitive since those manufacturers are gauging on the display port as well.

I guess the cheapo solution is to use the VGA port which should not be so bad since all my monitors are 2048x1156, I just did not want fuzzy middles.

There should be a less expensive way to do this than 125.00 a piece for an adapter that should be on board to start.

ATI I would pay an extra 30 bucks for 3 dvis oe 3 hdmi ports, pass your cost on to us as an option.
