Wife's HP Pavilion n3250 laptop is getting a little loose on the power plug.
Would love to dismantle and resolder, but this is a toughie to crack open.
Was thinking of powering it through the notebook docking station
connections. I assume these to be the two spots near the hinges, each also
featuring a screw. (but set me right if I'm wrong.) No voltage is present
at these connections (so they're not directly connected to the battery/AC
adaptor.)
If anyone has a docking station, would you mind please checking the voltage
and polarity? It'd be swell if it was 19v DC as I'd just rig something with
the existing power supply.
