APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: One to four months.

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming (shooters and MMORPGs), surfing the internet, watching movies/videos.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Keyboard, mouse, monitor, and speakers.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com, tigerdirect.com, jr.com, amazon.com

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA

PARTS PREFERENCES: Any brand reliable and comes with a decent warranty.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Likely 1680 x 1050 or 1920 x 1080, going to be a while before I get a new monitor.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Not using any windows, so no LED lights or anything flashy and unnecessary such as that.

Parts I've picked out:

CPU: i5 750 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

GPU: XFX 5850 http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?Item=N82E168... (buying from a different store if they don't get any in stock)

Motherboard: ASUS P7P55D-E Pro http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

CPU cooler: Cooler master 212 plus http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-RR-B10-212P-G1-Univ...

Case: Antec P183 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws 4GBRM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... or 4GBRH http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... if I can manage to get them cheaper elsewhere. Would like if someone suggested one of the two.

OS: Win7 Home Premium 64-Bit http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Optical Drive: ASUS Black 24X http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Hard Drive: SAMSUNG Spintpoint F3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Power Supply: CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The GPU, CPU and case are all definite choices.

Nice choice of case. Nice choice of parts too.
Planning for a 2nd HD 5850? The Corsair 750TX is sized for a second video card.
If not, you can drop down to a Corsair 550VX or similar high quality PSU.

RAM: F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM (your first link) is what's being most recommended.

Why do you the i5 750 when you could get the i7 930?

You have a very nice build picked out, just a few suggestions.

I would get the Gskill Eco kit. They are slightly more expensive than the cheaper kit you picked, but only a tiny bit slower than the more expensive kit, and their 1.35V gives you plenty of overhead to OC.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The P183 has the ability to fit a CPX-850 which is a very good unit for its price, better than the 750TX especially when combo'd with the P183

You can save another 15 by comboing your CPU and motherboard

I've made my decision on everything but the RAM. Which should I get? The 4GBRM or the Eco? What would be the differences in speed, heat, etc?

Just need someone to state the differences between the two rams and suggest one of the two, or suggest something superior around their price range. Don't want to have to make a thread for such a simple question.

Either set of RAM would be an excellent choice.
You can choose the one currently lower in price which ever one that is.

But what are the differences? Which is faster? Which generates less heat? Which would you suggest? The price difference is negligible, and I already know they're both good.

Differences are negligible. Speed (bandwidth) is identical. Although there are faster kits out there.
Heat is a function of voltage and cooling capacity, but usually not an issue in a good case.

Don't care for the mushkin. Which of the two would you suggest, and which should generate less heat? I've already asked twice.

The Ecos run at lower voltages so they will produce less heat. Their speed and timings are the same as the ripjaws so they will perform identically.
