Why does my computer sound cut in and out

could someone please give me the right way to stop my computer from cutting in and out while watching anything on hulu or you tube or anything audio for that matter?

janet_70, try to re-install the audio driver. Post some more info about the PC.

i also have the same problem and i have a m audio fast track recording interface i have m audio bx 8 and my sound cuts in and out on anything but fl studio so i cant watch 5 mins of a movie with out it cuting out and also when i minimize fl studio the music stops all together
