Hello,
I have a dell 1764 laptop. it came from the factory with a 450gb hard drive. However dell partioned with a 60gb and a 390gb drive C and D. The 60gb contains the os. The problem is now the 60gb is filled and the computer defualts to that drive. Can I remove the partion? what is my best course of action.

Thanks

To solve this problem you need resize your volume, is there any important data on your drive D? If not you could delete the D drive then add the space into C drive by the snap-in disk management. If you don't want to delete partition, you could only use other third-party software, such as GParted (OSS), Partition Assistant Home Edition (Freeware). You could find them from CNET

Hope this could help you
