Clean install help for windows xp no password no cd but I'm trying to donate thi

Hello, giving away an old lap top but i don't remember the log on password nor do i have the cd or any xp cd. when i turn the computer the first and only thing i getr is thge "Log On to Windows" prompt. my user name is there but then that vast password blank. . Please help, a damsel in frustration ..

No password support in these forums (read the forum rules). There's no way for anyone here to verify that you are the legal owner, or have authorization to access the computer.
