Need help with my new Nvidia GeForce 9600 GSO graphic card

hi, i have an EVGA nVidia GeForce 9600 GSO PCI-Express 2.0 768MB DDR2 and i was wondering if you just install it to the motherboard pci express 2.0 and it will get the whole power or do you have to connect it to power suply ? any help will be greatly apreciated

If it has an external power connector, which I think it does, then you have to hook that up as well in order for the card to work.

First remove any previously installed graphic drivers.
Then Put the card in PCI-E slot on the mobo.
Then attach the 6-pin power connector from PSU to the video card

9600 GSO will not require any external power..... it will work totally fine with the power provided by the x16 slot.... don't worry....
