Help picking case

-Hi guys, I'm looking for a case & psu combo deal on newegg that is around 130$(Or a case that is sub 100 dollars with shipping and I can buy my own PSU)
(140 max with shipping included and without MIR). This will be bought sunday morning so don't give me any case that has a deal which ends today. I've already looked at a few cases, and so please don't recommend me the following: Antec 900/300/illusion, nzxt hades/m95/Vulcan/Apollo, Cooler master Scout.

**I Use an M-ATX mobo whose dimensions are 9.6 x 9.6" with stock cpu cooler (will change soon) and gigabyte gtx 460 1gb**

I'm looking for a case that is within my price range, offers good cooling, too less design, and good cable management. As far as looks go... A window would be appreciated, but not a must, and a black color is fine.

I know its a handful and some of these cases cannot be compared, but I haven't bought a case before so bear with me.

I do a lot of gaming, and I go to the occasional semi local lan party every now and then, the thermal take armor case and the lian li are my top contenders

  1. Antech 900
    Cooler Master HAF 922.

Antec 900 has pretty lousy cable management which is why I say no. I'll need to read more comments before making my final decision.
  3. Cooler Master CM690 II.

From the money saved get crappy psu lol :D

HAF 922 is your bet atm. Getting a case with top mounted psu will waste your money.

What... lol crappy PSU? Seriously? Anywho, what case even has a top mounted Psu? o.o did I miss something?
  5. HAF 922 I realized is out of my budget :(. Also, I learned that my motherboard only has 1 3-pin so I'll need to spend an extra 10 dollars for a converter so I can hook em directly to my PSU... -_-
  6. I already got some reviews on some of the cases up there and I narrowed it down to these:

    XFX P1-650X-CAG9 650W ATX12V 2.2 / ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power ...

LIAN LI Lancool PC-K58W Black 0.8 mm SECC, Plastic + Mesh ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (All for 134 bucks :OOOO)

(Rest will be with this OCZ 500w PSU that's 50 bucks and modular)

    Thermaltake V9
COOLER MASTER NV 690 (Have it at local store for 79$)
    Antec Six Hundred

In order from what I like as far as aesthetics go
  7. Modular psu's FTW!

you don't know about top/bottom mounted psu's? are you from alien planet? even though you are researching so much, still you don't know about top/bottom differences. lmfao.

    Go with Lian Li Lancool.

What? I know what the difference is man, quit acting like a douche. I was saying because none of the power supplies that I saw had a top mounted PSU....

  10. I have a 690II Basic and i would say it's hard to beat for $70 and free shipping.
It's alot better then any Antec under the 902.
    I know it replaced a 300 and i also run a 902.
Nothing wrong with a Lancool though.
I use a OZC ModXtreme 600w in the CM 690II no problems or complaints.
The Falit1ty 550W is good too if your're on a budget.
  11. Go for a rosewill destroyer. Its cheap in cost, but is well built.
