Question on Intel i3 IGP for large LCDs.

Would the Intel i3 IGP be 'strong' enough for large IPS displays? I've been researching on these displays and almost every customer review suggests using a med-end dedicated video card. But I know that the i3 is used in media players with no problem.... Can anyone explain a solution?

edit: I'm moving this to the TV/Video card subcategory, sorry for my stupidity :(

Either category you move ot to it's still going to show up under Graphics post, to answer the IGP in the Core i3 can be used for any monitor depending on use. You can play movies with no problems but if you game or do video editing your going to want a graphics card.
