New Build Smell?

My brother built his first new computer. It boots up and appears to be running fine. It does however have a distinct smell. It doesn't smell like something burning (I've confirmed this with another person), but it definitely smells.

It kind of reminds me a little of a "new-car" type smell, but as a first time builders we just wanted to check with the community if noticing this type of smell is normal? Or should we be more concerned about this? Are there any diagnostics we can do to ensure everything is setup correctly?

I reckon your psu is burning off the dust and grease a little, warming up as it is,
unless it starts to actually smell a bit burnified, I shouldn't worry, it'll be gone in a couple of days

Most likely the PSU internals heating up for the first time.
