External VGA card necessary to watch blue-ray movies?

hey guys,
is an external VGA card needed to watch blue ray movies? i have an onboard 256mb vga card. would that be enough

Need complete specs such as type of card, CPU, ram, etc. Should not require an "external card" but you need a blue ray compatable drive and probably HD compatible cables for HD output. I dont think you will be able to play blue ray on a normal DVD drive, at least without severely downscaling the quality.
