Hi All,

I need to spec a machine that will be used purely for training purposes in a simulated lab environment:

Since the machine will be used "virtual box" to start off with it will have the following OS'es on it:

Windows 2003
Windows 2008
Windows 7
Sun Solaris 10
Ubuntu Server
Ubuntu Desktop

Additional apps on the 2008 OS will host the latest SLQ srv as well as Exchange10 and the latest office package

So i basically need 6machines in 1 and but leave room for adding extra's if required at a later stage

The config of the hdd (raid) is not critical to do as the info is only to be used for training so does not matter if data is lost as students will be re-installing OS'es and applications.

to cater for this i reckon that it will have to be a x64 with at least 10GB RAM with lots of storage?

I'm basically looking for a machine that can be a replacement for X amount of server/operating systems - What would you recommend?
