Hard drive for games

I am getting a 2tb hard drive. I will transfer from 1tb to 2tb. What can I do to get my 1tb ready for games. It will only be used for games and internet. Any help would be appreciated.

Not much to do other than perhaps formatting the old drive to get rid of old stuff. If it's a green drive I don't recommend it for gaming.

Thanks. But it is not a green drive. I already formatted it. Does it not hurt it to be formatted 2 weeks later? That is when I did the first format, 2 weeks ago.

If you already formatted it, it's ready to go. Nothing else to do to it except to install games onto it or put your data files on it.
