PSU: Until I get another 4650 and crossfire, will my current 400 W PSU from my Dell Dimension 8400 do the job? http://www.cputopia.com/hp-400w-dell-dimension-8400.htm...

Once I get the other card I was going to use this PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ500MXSP 500W ATX12V V2.2 / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Build comes out to be $277 without a PSU, I will look for combo deals and other things like that the day I order the parts.

I have OS, mouse, keyboard, monitor

Is this build solid? Later I would like to get another couple of sticks of ram and another 4650 GPU and crossfire it... Is this smart? will I see that much of a performance gain?

Any Advice is greatly appreciated.

What would your max budget be? That is a very old looking Dell PSU so best to get a new PSU...

Ok $305 AR with a better GPU/Chip and a 550W 80+ certified modular PSU. The nest is stoutly built for addition of more RAM, HD 5770, clocking, etc down the road for just a smallish top up ....hope u can afford it though hehe

I am assuming gaming is on the table hence the discrete GPU so for the above set up i would tone things down to 1280 x 1024 / 1440 x 900 / 1366 x 768 high or even medium strictly no AA/AF and game on ^^

Be sure to read the Open Box Refund Only Return Policy very carefully.
"If you purchase an Open-Box product Newegg guarantees only that you will receive the product itself; accessories MAY OR MAY NOT BE INCLUDED with Open-Box products. Newegg will not send you a missing accessory, even if the missing accessory is required in order to properly make use of all the product’s advertised functions."

I know..... :(  I'm just so damn cheap, trying to cut corners where ever I can, not the smartest move in the long run....
