  1. I am rebuilding this dell 4600i computer. The problem I am having is the seagate 80gb ata hard drive. The system will not boot from it. Bios is looking for the 0 sata drive. Is it possible to get this to work or do I need a different hard drive?
  2. THANKS, WHAT POSITION SHOULD THE JUMPER ON THE DRIVE BE IN? MASTER OR CABLE SELECT?
  3. Best answer
On newer systems cable select, older primary master.
