I am setting up a wireless network in one of my teacher's classrooms. I have a Linskys 2.4 ghz wireless access point in his office, with a WET11 hooked up to the computers in the room. When I hook the bridge directly to the computers, it works fine. To get more than one computer on, the computer teacher gave me a Farallon 10/100 ethernet hub. I hooked the WET11 up to the hub via the "Uplink" slot, and switched the output type to the correct one as per the instructions, and nothing. It doesn't recognize that it is plugged into a network. What is wrong?

If your getting a link light on the hub then it could be a bad hub. I'd try to find another hub or switch. Without being there I'd recommend trying to get one that has autosensing ports so you don't have to worry about having the Uplink button in the right position.

You could also look at DHCP issues. I would probably manually assign a static IP and start pinging to be sure you do not have connectivity from the clients to the LAN.
