Hey need some help guys was finally able to get xp installed on ym system had to do a total format and a cd install of xp.But fir some reason when it recognizes the space on my 30 gig hd it only sees 2008 mb and then once its loaded all i have is 2 gigs of storage space.Tried fdisk and adding extended partionions to it but then get stupid unmountable error and cant load xp.Is their a way i should be settign up my partitions on my hd before i install xp. or what can i do now to get the full usage out of my hd

when you fdisked, you DID choose "enable large disk support"? if not, this may explain the 2 gig drive
