I recently purchased a Toshiba Satellite L850and upgraded to Windows 8. Previously, when I had Windows 7 my wireless internet was working fine, but now that I've upgraded, my wireless isn't working full-stop. I've had to connect to the internet via an Ethernet cable and download all of the necessary drivers that were needed.

I'll admit I'm not the most computer savvy person, but I need this problem resolved ASAP. Can someone please help me?

Go to Control Panel ---> Administrative tools ---> Computer Management ---> Device Manager. Select the Network adapter (you may see a yellow triangle beside it). Disable (not delete) it. Restart the computer.

If this is not the issue, check and make sure that the 'wireless' switch on the laptop (at the side usually) is in the 'ON' position.
