5750 cant use for my rig

Forum Graphics & Displays : AMD Radeon 5750 cant use for my rig

I just brought a xfx 5750 1G, pic x16 2.1
I plus my card into intel d915gev, and it cant boot up
I have cooler master gx 550 for power supply
2G 800 ram from corsair
1Tb from seagate
That is no video signal after i plug in and cant boot up...
Anyone can help?

your board has a PCI-E x16 slot but the card is 2.1 which often cause problems. Update your BIOS and see if that does the trick, if not return the card and get a 5750 2.0.

You could give this a try remove the card plug the display in the way you did before you put the card. Then uninstall the display drivers from the device manager,run driver sweeper as if you dont have it use google, then shut down your computer and reinstall the card... see if that works XD

I tried to uninstal the driver, tried to update the bios, but it doesnt work...
For the 2.1 and 2.0
can i use the 2.1 card to plug on to the 2.0 motherboard?
i cant change the card with the 2.0 one...

you can use a 2.1 card in a 2.o mobo with no issue

the 4870 you have is a better card then the 5750 you wanted to upgrade to.

you are having very good gfx card than the 5750,then why are you changing your gfx card?for dx11?or ifinity?

I having this problems now, I am using the DVI to HDMI converter, and i conect it to HDMI LCD tv, but i cant get the sound from the hdmi port, I connect the analog signal to LCD also cant get the audio signal, that is the first point i want to have a direct HDMI port from video card which only from 5000 series and some nvidia card.
Beside that, i want to use the Eyefinity also, Hope can use DX-11 also, currently using windows 7 Ultimate.
Any suggestion?
But i only can install PCI express x16 1.0 and 2.0, unable to use 2.1 card.

BTW
I am going to build my I7 rig soon, so hope that card and use on the I7 rig also,
might be getting a 9800gt for my P4 rig... or some other card that have direct HDMI port support...
