External Blu Ray Writer - Samsung or Asus?

Hi,

I am in the market for an external blu ray writer for a laptop.
I want the unit to be powered over USB.

I have narrowed it down to two choices:

Samsung SE-506AB or
Asus SBW-06C2X-U

The Asus is slightly smaller and IMO slightly more attractive.
However, the slight size difference and appearance is of very little importance to me.

I am wondering which will be the longer lasting, more reliable drive?
Does anybody have any recommendations regarding these drives or any preference of one manufacturer over the other?
