I have a RocketRaid 2720 software Raid card with 4x 2tb WD eads green drives.
I initialized each drive, then set up the four drives in a Raid 10 array. The array has been initializing for around 20 hours now and it is 3% done with an estimated time remaining of 336 hours.
Any idea what this is indicative of? I'm guessing this isn't normal, and all the drives show a status of OK currently. Could one of the drives have some bad sectors or is something else at play here?
