Monitor goes black at Windows log in then screen turns blue & reboots

Hi All

please urgently help. was running Windows 7 then downgraded to WINXP. When i started running XP Only my primary monitor worked. the second one just remained off which was a surprise to me.
I started figiting with my display settings just trying sorting out. little did i know i made things worse. my window would load (log in) but the screen would just go black... just whilst dealing with that issue "when it rains it pours" NOW the system goes into a blue screen after loading windows and reboots.

How do i solve these?

Can you get it to boot up properly in safe mode?

If you can and can get internet access get a program called "HDD Regenerator". Just follow the instructions. Its great at fixing windows and disk errors to get your system working again. If you can't get into safe mode, download it on another system or even at the library if you have to and follow the instructions on how to make a boot-able version that will work from a usb stick. Then change your bios to boot from the usb, plug the stick in, let it do its thing and it should restore your system.
