Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness - getting past ghosty - HELP!

Hi

Can anyone help, I can't seem to get past the level where you have to get
the obscura painting off the statue. The walkthrough I have says head for
the one with the blue light but all of them have blue lights around them,
I go up to them but the hand does not appear. Can anyone tell me how to
get the painting or even skip a level and move on to the next one??

If you get too close to a statue, the blue light moves. Lara needs to
crawl on the outside perimeter and crawl towards a statue, but not
only the slightly higher inner section. From here, while facing the
statue, Lara draws the shotgun and waits for the ghost to start making
passes over head. There's no point in trying turn Lara around, so keep
her facing the statue. Each time the ghost passes over from behind, it
will turn around and move a bit slower towards Lara. Lara needs to
shoot the ghost during these periods when the ghost is moving slow.
On a PC, it takes a lot of shots, but you can keep saving your game.

Eventually, the ghost pauses and the room gets quiet. Once this happens,
Lara can stand up and holster the shotgun, go to the statue and get
the painting (just press action). She then needs to crawl again to
avoid damage. The door that led into this room will open, and Lara
can crawl out and down the stairs. Once far enough down the stairs
Lara can stand up and be out of the ghost's reach if you want to
look at the ghost. Otherwise, Lare just continues on downthe
stairs and back through that hallway.

First order of business is to deal with Brother Obscura's red ghost.

Crawl around and pick up various ammo and health packs (NOTE: It is important
that you CRAWL since the ghost can drain your health every time it touches you.
Crawling keeps Lara under the ghost, reducing the chances of being touched.

Once you've done this, get near a blue light (but not too close or it will
move), then get your shotgun ready. If the ghost isn't too close, you can
stand up and Lara will automatically aim. Then go into a crouch.

When the ghost is in range, begin firing while in a crouch (same benefits as a
crawl). Continue firing until the ghost appears to stop. It is now stunned.
Quickly put the shotgun away and go to that blue light. Once the hand appears,
make your grab (press "action"). You will then have that painting.

You must do this very quickly since the ghost will remain stunned for only a
short period of time. Once it recovers, the light will move again and you're
back to Square One, having to repeat the process again.

Hi

I tried the tactic but I don't know when the ghost is stunned as when I
get up from the crouch position, the ghost comes back at me again.

How do I skip a level, it might be easier?

Shoot him while in crouching position from shotgun. He will stop for a
coupla seconds which is that stunning moment. Immediately holster (or
she will try to aim by changing direction), stand up and run to the
painting. Grab it and flee out as you have less than 6 seconds...
