ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 dual channel memory

Hello. My Motherboard supports Dual Channel Mem. I have 2x2gb Corsair XMS3 dual kit. 1600 . It will post in the first black and blue slots but will not post in Dual blue for dual channel. Do I need to swich something? I am using Phenom 955 cpu and corsair 650 psu.

It should be automatic. Possibility is that you got a bad motherboard but you can run memtest on the individual sticks to make sure it is not the ram. http://www.memtest86.com/download.html
Have you tried the other two slots?

You should have the RAM installed in slots 1&3 or 2&4 Try one stick in each black slot.

I did memtest. Ram is perfect. I will try black slots to see if that works. Its in 1 & 2 right now. when i try 1 & 3 (blue) the memok button blinks red

My brother and I have the Same exact components, except case, and His also does not post in Dual Mode
