Graphics card support by psu

Following is my system configuration:

DH55TC
Corei3 530 @ 2.93GHz
4GB DDRIII @ 1333MHz
120mm Fan + 120mm LED Fan
WD Caviar Green 500GB
LiteON DVD Rom
Thermal Master 420W PSU having 16A on 12V Rail single

I dont do any OC. .

My question is that:
Which graphics card can be put in this rig? If we talk about max aproach.

resolution is 1024*768 and max budget is 90$ ... i m not a die hard gamer . . just shughal mughal

Not a whole lot, look at a 4850(30?), or perhaps a 9800GT.

If you aren't on plan to buy a new monitor with higher resolution then 9800GT will just fine...

the main aspect of questiom is that, will my psu will handle it?

If you choose 9800GT Green Version then it doesn't need 6pin power connector from PSU, so you will be fine, don't worry about it.
The same goes with normal version of 9800GT, your PSU is just enough to run that card.

on gpureview.com the max TDP for 9600gt is 80W . . so any card having tdp below 80 will be okay on my psu?
