my ? is how do i get my motherboard to recognize the 1600mhz DDR3 kingston hyperx memory, the motherboard is recognizing it at 1333mhz what all do i have to do to get my motherboard to recognize and when i do this would i need a special cooler over my ram

No need to return the RAM really, 1333mhz is fine, and with the hyperx you have heat spreaders so don't be afraid to Over-clock.

It's really simple to change in the BIOS. Just go through the menu and find the settings for it, then in the drop down menu select 1600mhz and hit F10 to save & exit.

well the ram i currently have in my PC is DDR3 1600mhz CL9 dual channel hyper x blu i called compusa and they told me the motherboard will be fine using this memory thats what they said
