How much more life does this motherboard have? Or is it in dire need of an upgrade. I just recently bought a new gpu (560 Ti), but if I went a head and bought a cpu to go with it (would be upgrading from a Phenom II 720 X3 2.8 Ghz) to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103808 or for 20$ more http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727

My full system specs:
4GB Corsair DDR3
Phenom II 720 X3 2.8 Ghz
EVGA NVIDIA GTX 280 I now have a MSI 560 Ti Twin Frozr.
750 Corsair TX PSU
Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium

I'm a gamer, and I play @ 1680x1050 res.
games I play include: Dragon Age Series, Mass Effect Series, RIFT, and Call of Duty.

More about motherboard upgrade
  1. According to the motherboard's CPU support list, your board supports all Phenom II X4 CPUs;however, for some of them it requires having the 1.01G PCB(along with the latest BIOS).
If you don't know what's the PCB model, then go for either Phenom II X6 CPUs or
    X4 940
