I recently built a new computer but i'm having a problem that I hoped you guys could help me with. The specs are:

Asus M4A78T-E

AMD Phenom 955 BE

Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2x2GB PC12800

The board I have says it will do 1600(o.c) so i set ram timings to suggested 8-8-8-24 @ 1.66V and speed to 1600mhz in BIOS. I ran memtest for 10 hours with no errors, however when I rebooted I got an overclock failure warning and set everything back to defaults. My questions are:

1. Am i doing something wrong? Is there something else I need to set?
2. IF the 1600mhz works, can I run 4x2gb for a system total of 8gb? Or am i limited to 2 sticks?
3. IF the 1600mhz will not work with 4x2gb, should I send it back and get 1333mhz instead?

I did save everything in BIOS the first time before i had the problem. Yesterday after posting here I gave up and set timings to 7-7-7-24 at 1.66V 1333mhz...i guess i'll just use that and not worry about 1600
