Undo security settings linksys

I changed my router to "wep" and set a password, and now I cannot log on as it asks for network security key and will not accept the password I set??

Put an ethernet cable between the computer and router, go into the router's setup screens and disable wireless security -- or, preferably, select WPA TKIP PSK which is simpler to set up and more secure than WEP.
