Got a pal that has this motherboard (240pin ddr2 - 1066 ram): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
I just got some new ram and am thinking of giving him my old ram, here it is (240pin ddr3 - 1333 ram): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

He currently has this ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Can he use the ram I am wanting to give him and if so will he see much of a performance increase?
Thanks for your help in advance.

No. DDR2 and DDR3 are physically and electronically incompatible.

Confirming that the "key" slots are in different positions on DDR2 and DDR3 so they cannot be interchanged.
