Does this psu work for two gtx 460s

Would a CORSAIR HX Series CMPSU-750HX 750W ATX12V 2.3 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010) power supply work with two gtx460s graphics cards (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125333)? My friend said the pins do not match up and that it will not work.

gtx 460 requires 2 6-pin PCIe connectors and the 750HX comes with 4, so you should be fine

thats what i thought but the guy that is helping me build the comp told me that the pins were wrong and that i needed something like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006 instead

your psu is fine and the pins are exactly the same between those 2 PSUs.

the only difference between them is one is modular (yours) and one is not (your friends recommendation)
