I am looking to build a new system for my freelance web design business and need some advice. I have read so many articles that I do not know what to do. I have posted asking about the AMD 1090t and the i7 930 on another post. Here is what I am looking to do with the PC and I am hoping someone can give me some advice on what they use. I need a fast and powerful setup. I typically have about 9 apps running at a time as I power 3 large 27" monitors.

Apps running at Same Time...
Microsoft Outlook 2010
Adobe CS5 Dreamweaver
Adobe CS5 Photoshop
Adobe CS5 Fireworks
Adobe CS5 Flash
WAMP Server (PHP, MySQL)
iTunes
soThink DHTML Menu Creator
Navicat

Occasional Use...
Quickbooks Pro 2010
Microsoft Word 2010
Microsoft Excel 2010

Can anyone advise on what would be a good config? I can afford just about anything up to a i7 950. I like AMD as well. I would like to have at least 12 GB of Ram and a BIG video card.

Thanks in advance.

i7-930, 12 GBs of DDR3 RAM will work fine - check my configuration in my profile.

How would the AMD 1055 or 1090t compare with my usage? Any advantage to the 6 cores?

Either one will work fine for Photoshop - multiple cores is always better than single core. Multi core is the trend.
