Gt240 vs 9800gt vs 9600gt

hey guys,
my pc specs
C2D E4500 oc to 2.6GHz
dg33fb motherboard
2gb ram 800MHz
400 w psu
1440x900 monitor
win 7

of the 3 which is best or are there any better options ?

the 9800gt is the best out of those options.

what is your budget because you can get much better cards then that

Yes, I would get an HD5670 instead. It is on par with the 9800GT and also much newer. It is DX11 and has a number of more advanced/current video/audio playback features that the 9800GT lacks. This would be a good choice if you are in the US;

Alternately if that PSU is of a decent brand then it can likely handle an HD4850. It's a nice step above those other cards in terms of performance;

I'm probably regarded as a amd/ati fan boy. however if you can get any 5000 series then your going to have gain on these choices. i personally wouldnt go any lower then a 5770 though as they are the best value for money weighing in at around £100 (sorry i work i real money ;D) or $150 ish i dont hav any links but it would definetly do the job and be very future proof

He is using an 1440x900 monitor. Sure an HD5770 would still be nice but frankly it's overkill and costs about $50 more than these other cards.
