Hi guys
heres the deal... i have a 250gb sata II HDD and a 250gb IDE HDD ... however the ide drive has a ide to sata adapter( image below ) so its basically detected as a sata drive

can i run both the 250gb hard drives in a raid 0 array..... the motherboard i will be using supports raid 0 and 1.... but im looking at better hdd performance and not fault tolerance which is more associated with raid 1
can i use the ide drive with the sata adapter in raid 0 ?
many thanks guys

  1. Might work, but you would get slower performance than using the SATA drive by itself, probably. But maybe that's why you are called "the snail?"
